These places had protected status in the period from 1940 to 1951. And in 1960 one of the first Belarusian reserves was formed here. The Naliboksky reserve is now a significant part of the forest. About 20 rivers flow here. The main river is the Berezina. Most of the forest is a pine forest, but there are birch forests and broad-leaved plants.
The fauna of the reserve is also rich. Most of the animals that live in Pushcha are listed in the Red Book. Particular attention is paid to birds, the reserve even implements a program to save certain species. On the territory of the attraction there are various monuments of architecture, history, natural objects.
